I usually dismiss mash-ups, but once in great great while, I’ll hear a mash-up that’s decent, at best, so when Danger Mouse put out a whole mash-up album, I dismissed that too. The other day I heard Enter The Magical Mystery Chambers and it’s been on heavy rotation since. One of the best rap groups ever meeting arguably the best band ever, in musical harmony. The tracks aren’t all Wu Tang, there’s a lot of solo ish on there, and the Beatles samples are not all Beatles but rather lots of samples of Beatles covers, but every track is pretty amazing.
